Modern vinyl plank in Nexton: polish-only programs
Most newer Nexton commercial buildings feature modern vinyl plank with factory wear layer. These floors typically don’t need wax — applying wax to a sealed-wear-layer floor can cause cloudiness, peeling, and the eventual need for costly removal. The correct treatment is regular polishing with appropriate pads to maintain the factory finish.
Our Nexton polish-only programs typically run monthly for retail and restaurant tenants and quarterly for professional offices. The maintenance cost is meaningfully lower than VCT-and-wax programs, and the appearance is consistently better because there’s no wax-yellowing cycle.
